hello again. my name's louisa.

unlike most of the lovely people on neocities, i've never had a website before, so i'm a total rookie with all of this. i never had a website growing up as a kid, and i was honestly too scared of coding to ever try my hand at it on tumblr. i honestly didn't know anything about coding until a couple of years ago (maybe 2022, 2023?) when i decided, on a strange whim, that i wanted to learn html. i think maybe it might have been a youtube recommendation? or maybe a bordem? anyway, i ended up learning html and never did anything with it because i was intimidated by css. i decided to pick it up again after getting really fed up with regular social media. i wanted to feel like i was actually doing something on the internet, not just constantly absorbing an endless supply of distractions, and so i built a website. it's all i've been doing for the past couple of weeks now, and i love it.

onto a bit about me, i'm 25 and an australian. my main hobbies are reading and knitting. i tend to be a bit of a slower reader, but i don't really care to get much quicker at it. my knitting, however, very quick. i feel like i'm up to my eyeballs in knit jumpers ^^

my other hobbies are baking, i have a sweet tooth, gardening and sewing. hopefully i can share some of those things here (well, not this page, it's too full >u<)
